Yup.  The argument is that the load on the knuckle is greater because you are moving the caliper to the outside of the factory mount.  I haven't had any issues and I'm running 42's, with IFS hubs and 1 1/2" spacers...  If it wasn't for full hydro I'd never be able to turn... :gap:
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

steel? stronger, but if they are even a bit out of balance after u bolt them in, it will vibrate like a washing machine.
they will be machined out on a lathe, its not possible to be out of balance, this is how regular wheel spacers are made

as long they dont do it on a 3 jaw chuck....
hope they use a 4 jaw and indicate them in TRUE...

but you cant drill them on the lathe....
and if you get the bolt hole circle out of center... there is your vibration ....

  just my 2 cents....

Glen, get me some drawings. I know someone with a CNC mill. No promises, but that would solve your off-center hole issue.

Honestly, you'd be better off doing the flipped calipers or the 5/8" spacers, but the true life is in the journey, not the destination, so send me some drawings!
