Temp Gauge not worky

So i change my truck a little... Took out stock tank and put in fuel cell. Took off the front clip and moved the radiator in the rear... Everything works except the temp guage. It does not even register. Needle stays sunk down. I didnt pull off the water temp sensor or anything. Its in the stock location. Everything is plugged in. Anything I should look for ? 


It use to look like a regular truck... Now it looks like this.

Is your temp sensor in the thermostat housing?  I'd double check that the connector didn't get pulled off or the wire pulled out of the connector.

Check for the wire that is between the lower intake runners, right in the middle, right up against the flange that bolts to the head!  Mine wasn't hooked up, and the temp gauge didn't work.  And I thought it was the one in the top of the t-stat housing.

Its in the front of the block. Not the housing... I checked the connector and its plugged in. Is there a way to check if the sensor is still working ?

No wire there. ... No where for a wire to hook up.

I believe to test the sender, you will need to check the resistance of the sensor with a ohm meter while the engine is cold. then warm the engine up and check the resistance again. it should be lower. If it is not, replace the sender.
