If you like music, dont want to download it and just like an internet radio website then theres a great one my buddy just showed me. Its awesome and plays CD quality music and you just type in an artitst and it gets other artists in the same "channel" that you listen to and you rate the music so if you give it a thumbs down it doesnt play music like it and every thumbs up it plays music like that. Its awesome. The quality of the music is amazing... oh and its FREE! The only downside is you cant skip a bunch of songs, it only allows like 10 song skips per hour and if you get sick of the songs its playing you can jsut open a new station, its cool.

Or just go on pandora and type in your favorite death metal band, lets say the black daliah murder, and itll come up with a lot of bands like that. Not only that its quality music and if you dont like one of the songs or bands you can put a thumbs down.

Pandora is better sorry. I was on the death.fm yesterday

Oh I forgot something

:shake:
If they had all of the music that I listen to then I would agree with :shake: but looking through it searching for artists I came up with about 3 of my favorite artists out of 10. So for me this station is not as good for death metal.  :fakeflip:

Wow thats pretty weird....

Every single artist that I put in they had including bands like Dying Fetus, Nasum and ABORTED...... I found it odd they had all those guys and had music in the same genre.

I have been listening to pandora for several months now. What a killer Idea they had with the music "genome" project. It has suggested several artists that fit in with what I like. I have expanded my musical nazi'ness greatly due to pandora.  :beerchug:

One example would be: I typed in "the music machine" and was listening to the music machine radio when this forkin badass song came on. I could not believe my eyes when it suggested BOB SEGER!!! I had no idea Bob Seger was doing the psych thing back in 1968. So I promptly went over to slsk and picked up "Ramblin Gamblin Man" By "The Bob Seger System" It seems Bob was a pissed off kid singing protestish songs back in the late 1960's. I gained mucho respecto for Ol' Bob.

The song was 2+2=? and it is definetly worth a listen.  :beerchug:

Another example was pandora suggesting Sage Francis while listening to Buck 65 radio. I have since downloaded every Sage Francis album I have been able to find.  :gap:

That's a good test

I typed in a band and it played good music, but not the band I typed. I'll keep listening.
