2. does anybody know where there is a cheap place to get gears installed for an F150?
my buddy has called around the places in chico and they are asking 2,000 for the install

not sure who he called but whoever quoted him gave him that much

I'd just go around to local shops and see what they say, or if they know of a place. You'd be surprised that more shops do gear installs then you'd think. Make sure they're reputable.
