How worried do i need to be about breaking the non-floater rear axles with 35" tires an electric locker and a V6??
SAS, 35s, ELOCKED F/R,  4.88s, S/C 3.4

Can't say i've ever seen a rear axle break. :dunno:

dual cases  larger than 35's  and a locker,  you need to be worried

that said  i broke one  but i was almost full throttle  in lo-lo and 1st and  hit the brake instead of the clutch  and broke one
but  just out wheelin  i wouldnt worry
are you running a v8 :dunno:

on my old 854runner I havent broke my rear axle and at the time i was running 39.5 boggers with a triple t-case setup and it also had stock axleshafts I broke the front more

I just bent my rear passenger. dual ultimate and 3rz. Wasn't abusing it at all but it bent.

I've never busted an axle. I went with the birfield eliminator kit from Randy's ring and pinion, and so far have been very happy. Never busted a rear axle, matter of fact I don't know anyone who has either. I'm still considering a full floater set-up, more so I can put rear disk brakes and locking hubs on than anything else.
