"EWWWWWWWWWW" Is right! Rat crap is my new enemy. I couldn't believe that the fender wells were completely full of doodo. A rat couldn't have craped in there if he wanted to!
I hope when I'm done it will no longer smell like R. Kelly just had a party in my truck. "Drip, drip, drip. Gonna pee on you." I'll try to get some pics today.

There was still some smell left after spraying the oven cleaner so I put some bleach in a spray bottle and hosed the cab down. After like three hours I came back and pressure washed it. I'd say the smell is 90% gone!! Gonna use straight bleach tomorrow, then pressure wash then straight vinegar. I'm going to hose and scrub the dash and what not with a bleach & water mix, just to see if it's salvageable. I'd really love to keep it, if I can get the stank out.

It's a lot like cat pee.  You won't. The stuff literally will eat into metal as well if left alone long enough - creating its own special surface rust(it's acidic like bird droppings).

Assume that everything that's not made of metal in the cab is destroyed/not salvageable.  Anything that's painted probably needs to be sanded to bare metal and shot with a layer of Rustoleum primer or similar.

I Know, I know, everything has to go. What I really need to know is how to get that dang rubber crap off the floor! I'm going to try a torch and paint scraper. Heat it up then scrape it off. Anyone done it, or have better ideas? I want to do the cab cheap or I'd just take it to my local sand blasting shop and WHAMMY!

I used a shark chisel and hammer...if its colder it will come off in chunks...then i use a flapper disc and/or wire wheel to get the rest off. good luck!

hantavirus.. naaahh. steam cleaning the rat feces out of the cab breathing the steam.
No chance of catching it. OOPS! Give me a few weeks we'll see if I feel any symptoms. Good thing I just got that half million dollar life insurance policy!

Air born stuff like that gives me the creeps!  Make sure you wear a mask dude....and use the torch.
