Welcome back!  I have a sister in YV, it's not all that bad.  I'm afraid that there probably won't be much wheeling in Big Bear for a while.  East side of the lake, John Bull and Gold Mtn is still open, but I expect that most of the rest will be closed for quite a while.  :rivers:

What the HELL do you mean you're moving back!!?? I thought you were so glad to get out of the state!! You just moved!
What happened with the restaurant, it didn't work out? I know that is grueling work though, but still. I'm so surprised to hear this!

Simply Campfire Girl has an opportunity to start a daycare business, if things work out she could end up making more than I in short order. If she gets 5 students she will make more than I make now. She has all the credentials already, so that's not an issue. I already have had several offers at management positions in the area, right now I'm in CA I have an interview tommorrow at 10:00a at a lighting company that needs a warehouse manager. I also have another restaurant in the Palms Springs area that is very interested in what I accomplished in only a year at the seven stores I took care of in Mesa. Also my son-in-law wants me to drive for Coors since I had enough since to keep my class A up to date, well I did let my med expire but I could take care of that in a snap. Gotta look at the big picture and who knows if she makes it big I may not have to work at all, well I'd help her by managing the center. You are correct though managing a restaurant has been a challenge for me but I have learned a lot in a short amount of time that I can take with me into almost any management position. There is a bunch of ideas burning in my head right now but 1st things 1st, get the daycare up and running.

Yeah I figured that from the maps it looks like the fire cut a path from one end to the other taking several trails out along the way. I want to go see for myself what got burned and what survived. I had a few good remote campgrounds that I loved to camp at and it looks like they got torched too.  :rivers:  I do have a couple spots behind John Bull that are still there though so I should be ok on those.

hypotheically (SP??) if i were to rent a truck and get the renters insurance and take it stock through rubicon, and trash it...what would i be liable for??

Rocksurfer

Since it was not done by accident you'd be footin' the bill.
