i dont think that i need anymore stuff right now.

but i do have my 84 short bed its not perfect but it works. and the tailgate is perfect. tail lights are good  i even have a tool box that i need to get rid of.

Is the tool bax an across the bed box or is it an in the bed between the roll bar box?

between the roll bar. it was bought to fit a double single roll bar.

just curious to how it bolts down..is it actually deep enough to fit decent stuff in it...some of those over the bed rail boxes seem shallow and are split into 2 sections..

It has self tappers the screw threw the box to what ever you mount it to.  I had an over the rail box in my truck at one point and i fit all the stuff i usually carry and i also added a few things.   So yeah i would say that YES it does have enought room to carry what u need. here are the specs from the dee zee website

Not a chance, i had to jump threw too many hoops to get those tanks.  but i did end up getting a hell of a deal on them.
