sag lift

ok im about to put 33" tires on my 4runner. i want to put a 3" lift but i cant figure out what i need. if i want 3 inches do i put 2 in the front and 3 in the back or 3 in the front and 4 in the back. i've heard you need an extra inch in the rear cause of the inherited sag. any one know

Yes. Order 1" taller suspension for the rear. Unless you WILL NOT run your hard top, and your tailgate is gutted.

i plan on running my hard top most of the time but like during the summer i will leave it off quiet a bit

order atleast 1 inch taller in back in either spring or shackle, on my 85 i did 4 front 5 rear i should of went with a longer shackle in back as well, unloaded i sit level, put an icechest and two kids in now i sag, it will be very bad if i ever load it up for camping.
