Some anti-spatter on the inside helps,  :yesnod:
dont use a good 3rd member, i used a toasted one for clearance..

awesome job and the axle. i wanted to do that in the rear but ended up just shaving the drain plug and plating that one spot, not as beefy as what did but still works

Hows this for an update?
Wheelin about out in the field by my house, got up on a slippery hill and slid the front tires off the side, causing me to plop on the driverside..
Nobody was hurt, all held up pretty well.
Doors toast, along with the glass in it, which is now partially in my hand too...
Medium dent in the bed...Nothin too bad.

yeah, the pics dont show the door very well, plus i knocked what was left of the window out...

So the baja fender on the drivers side didnt get destroyed? no cracks or anything? thats pretty impressive, from the pics it looks fine.
