After having my front align....it wobbles like crazy after reaching 10-15 mph.  The guy from the shop told me that he doesn't know why it does that and could only fix it by setting it back to where it was before.  I can't because its eating up the inside of my tires. Tires wouldn't last another month if set back to where it was at.  Any help is appreciated. :help:

I have the same problem on my 79...but what is causing mine is that I hit a rock with the tie rod.  My tie rod ends now need to be replaced because they are REALLY loose...have you checked that yet?

What is your alignment set at now?
What is your caster set at now?
When was the last time you had your tires balanced?

Could be a number of things, solo or together, Aligment, caster, tires out of balance or out of round, shot shocks, trunion bearings to loose, wheel bearings to loose, shackles to loose, bushings shot, U-bolts loose, center bolt on springs loose or broken, those are most of them that I can think of. I would bet it is the caster is off, what size shackles are you running? What is the drop on your front spring hanger. Start with finding out what your caster angle is.

somebody needs new trunion bearings

but in the mean time  set the toe IN  a tad,  like 1 degree  that will push the tires together  holding them on the truck  what you described (wearing the inside of the tires ) is toe OUT  which basically tries  to pull the tires  off the truck

if solid axle, I agree with glen, (trunion bearings) it fixed my wobble problems! I also installed new wheel bearings, I don't know if that would cause it to wobble or not though.

to check the bearings jack up one of the front tires and see if you can rock it top to bottom.

The top of my tires seem to lean out on my solid axle. Is this normal? I have replaced all bearing and seals in everything.

I had that problem too but mine was just a tire issue....(tire worn terribly uneven) replaced tires and it went away.

The top of my tires seem to lean out on my solid axle. Is this normal? I have replaced all bearing and seals in everything.
Put it up on jacks.
Put a staple on the tread of each tire.
Rotate the tire until the staple is at the bottom of the tire (or as close as you can get) and equal position on both sides.
Measure the distance between staples.
Rotate the tire so the staples are at the top of the tires (even on both sides)
Measure the distance between staples.

That will get you to the point of knowing for sure it is leaning.

After that, if it is and your bearings are in good shape, something is bent.

I looked at my friends 85 4Runner and his tires lean also but not as noticeable as mine(for ex. \  /). He has 33's and I'm runnig 37's.
