new vallejo, ca need trany help

Hey People...   i'm trying to build up a 82 toyota i came accross... i love this thing it has brought me zen like happyness... but the trany will not down shift into second. when i changed my trany fluid a spacer fell out.    i figure that must be it. i'm thinking about getting a marlin trany    i don't know much about shipping of them and they are 3 hours away. a small price to pay for a good trany. Anyone got any ideas? ( what it may be? )

Marlin is the man to talk to about that for sure

just run on down there and get you a HDL52  you can't go wrong with that.  or there are other options too  Marlin's the man to talk to. or dave, just call and say

If you cant afford a tranny ive got a 5 speed for you and does 225 make it easier to get one.
