Well, after 4 years of DDing the toy, it has finally been retired from DD duty, and is spending its current retirement in the corner spot in my apartment complex.  :woohoo:  That little toy deserves its well earned rest, before I start tearing into it again :headshake:  I've got cooling problems, oil pump is going out, oh hell, its got a 3.0 for pete's sake.  :smack:

Anyway, here's the new rig, DD and tow rig eventually.  :thumbs:

'02 F250 crew cab short bed, 4x4, crew cab, 7.3, 6 speed manual, power windows, power doorlocks, A/C :woohoo:  cruise control, 6disc changer, etc.

dude it is about time that you posted pics!!! We have been hearing about it from spotter and ?????? looks siack dude, got a tow rig to tow the yota :woohoo:  moonrocks here we come

Thanks guys!! :thumbs:  I've been looking/saving for a DD for a while, but with the new job, I figured I could finally get something that would last a long time (at least as long as fords are expected to :disturbed: ) and mabye spoil myself a bit :gap:

Truck is in great shape, inside and out.  Its still under 100K on the clock as well :woohoo: (barely)

Not yet.  don't have a place to put one.  But I figure its a lot easier to rent/borrow a trailer than it is to rent/borrow a truck and trailer :gap:

I really did too.  It took me about a month of searching, and that was one of 2 that was advertised within 100 miles of Reno that I could afford.  The autos are a dime a dozen, but those 6speeds in the crew cabs are hard to find.

Never got to tow the 3.0 Killer, and never will :(










Long story short, had a snowstorm last weekend, headed home in the slow lane, rear of the truck spun to the pass side, as the truck slid to the drivers side, wound up going off the road into the center divide facing the wrong way.  Truck wound up on its roof, thankfully no one was hurt.

:nope: Thankfully she was sitting in the middle seat.  If she had been sitting in the pass seat...   :yikes:  who knows what might have happened.  Full coverage, and total loss protection, so the bank waives the difference between the trucks value and its worth. Good deal seeing as since I bought the truck, they've gone down about 6-8K in value.
