popcorn no more??

power went out last night for 4-5 hours. When I went to dail 767-2676 pop-corn and it is discontinued as of Sept 19th!!

you guys have never heard of POP-CORN?  It's funny if you dial 767-xxxx you still get the time no matter what last four numbers you use.  I heard they were getting rid of it cause the system is too old and too expensive to maintain and update....Ah, the end of another era gone by.

can they do that???  I thought they had to have some sort of time announcement system due to power loss.  Well i guess we will all have to rely on our cell phones and atomic clocks.  Sorry to say it, out witht eh old technology and in with the new.  I still called that number every once in a while tho.  not like it wasnt usefull...
