noob from Vacaville
« on: Sep 15, 2007, 11:02:10 PM »
Hi all, 3 of my kids (Spotter, MikeRob and Blackdog) have been part of the Marlin family for a while so I figured I'd join as well.  I'm driving a 89 Toy that we bought as a parts truck before we realized how great it runs.  No mods yet but hope to lift it and make a few other minor mods later.  For now I just need it reliable.  C ya all

:welcome: II  :turtle: inside every turtle-shell there is a bad-asss running Toyota. I could never understand parting out a perfectly good yota, I've even taken a stripped shell and rebuilt it to a smooth running rig.

:yesnod:  mikerob and I bought it to use some parts and to part out the rest, previous owner claimed blown hg, the works.  Drove it back to Scrobi's, and it turned out there were no problems, I believe just some simple wiring problems that Scrobi cleared up, so mikerob and I sold the rig to Scrobi

Glad you got to keep it, but I was bummed to see that paintjob go   My folks live a few blocks down from you.  I was the guy that owned the black and red 3rd gen that drove by every once in a while   had a aluminum shell on it during the winter.
