i just found this and figured that i would share it with everybody havent seen it on this board before so i figures i would post it up for you guys.
i have been looking for one of these for a while so i could do a rear disk conversion and still have a parking brake for cheap.   i think it should work on a toyota what do you guys think?

Yeah that should work. kind of what i want but with elecctric solenoids so i can use it for an ebrake as well as a cutting brake. so far i havnt been able to find one that works with metric fittings.

i have heard that a linelock is a temporay solution, and not inteded to hold the vehicle for an extended amount of time (somehting about blowing seals)

That sounds agreeable. Sure your brakes can stop the truck but the pedal is really held for 5 seconds the longest while slowing down. You'd probably break a seal if you applied it on a hill or somethin.

:yesnod: Some of them also tend to allow fluid to bypass overtime, so if you rely on it for an extended period of time, it'll slowly let loose.
