What year truck? Did you set it using the FSM as a guide when you installed it?

its a 93 22re out of a 2wd  i put it in a 90 4wd ,the connector was different on the 93  so i took the throttle sensor off the 90 an put it on the 93  in stead of cutting an splicing wires there a little yellow dot on top of both  sensor 's . i line the dot up with the set screw if all else fails get the manual

Set it according to the FSM. I have that section of a 90 manual if you need I can scan the pages.

i dont have it, id really appreciate it an any other help. i talked to a guy who was having the same prolbem i am , i though it was my timing but it is fine its like it wants to run but something is holding it back like aganist a strong wind . he said when he put his connector on to the sensor he bent a pin just a little an didnt no it an it was doing the same thing as mine  when he fixed it it was like adding another cylinder so i am hoping that mine is set wrong i no it has about a half inch of adjustment

Give me an hour or two & I will get it to you. You will need a multi-meter (electrical tester) to set it.
