my yota for sale... trail ready beast for cheap
« on: Aug 30, 2007, 02:55:29 AM »

I am selling my yota to fund my buggy build.  This truck goes wherever you point it and is a blast wheeling.  It could use some TLC and some "little stuff" to be complete and "done"... it is wheelable as is though.

link to my buildup:  http://bbs.zuwharrie.com/content/topic,35804.new.html#new

$6,000 seems like so little but I think that's fair seeing as it isn't 100% showroom LOL.

THE GOOD:
* Toyota Dealership rebuilt the 22R and the tranny 25k ago and I maintain them
* Full Exo Cage (2" pipe)
* 18" front dovetail, Flatbed rear
* 107" WB (so stable it's unbelievable)
* firewall tubbed and axle moved forward 3"
* dual cases
* only 2.5" lift w/ RUF and tacoma rears
* 14" procomp shocks
* 38x12.50x15 TSL's (3 rides on them, brand new) 15x8 2"BS steelies
* wider IFS rear w/ fully welded rear
* fully built front axle with widening kit, all gussets, OG longfield outers, ez locker, IFS brakes, Rock Assault hydro assist
* Flat Belly with Marlin Crawler skidplate
* Line-X'd interior 100%
* Front winch mount and fairlead already there. I'm keeping the winch.
* gas tank relocated much higher/safer
* never rolled or even crashed (clean title)

the bad:
tcases leak around the adapter (marlin MAY warranty it, I haven't checked)
front knuckle rebuild is needed ($75 from most vendors)
rear brakes need adjustment and re-bled (lines are good though)
needs exhaust (open header is cool though)

I have 2 years of my life in this and countless dollars/scars... please wheel it more than I have. thanks

I can help with delivery and I need trades also:
TURBO 350 trans.
2.5ton rockwells
42" or bigger tires
Dana 300 twinstick
beadlocks (any size really)
fuel cell etc... stuff!
I'm going yota JUST so I can buy from Marlin more.

I have a buggy I've already started building so I won't need the other 2. accepting trades, cash, short term payment plans.
