Newbee - Grand Junction, Colorado
« on: Apr 30, 2004, 02:50:23 AM »
Hello everyone,
I'm James from G.J., CO.  I was born and raised here.  I aquired a 89' runner in great shape.  I spent some money on the fading paint and am in the process of designing body armor with a winch.  I'm also in the middle of ditching the very sick 22re and putting in a 95' 4.3 vortech V-6.   Everything else is stock runner.  I want to put a detroit in the rear and a second case in soon.  My intensions for this rig is to keep it as a daily driver and run 35 - 37 tires.  I understand that hiway will suffer a bit.  But that is what the motor is for.  I want to be able to keep 75-80mph on the interstate (actually use 5th gear ).  I'm not sure what axle ratio to run 4.88 or lower.  I wont be able to check this much since I'm teaching all the time and have a girlfriend.  Just for the record, she supports my wheeling.  Sorry, her sister hates wheeling :-\ .

I am trying to get rid of my 22re.  I have the motor, motor harness, computer brain, mass air flow sensor, Downey air intake, Downey header, factory intake manifold, and a very used clutch.  The longblock is a rebuilt NAPA motor.  It has the stamp on the motor number spot.  The fender and dash harness will have to be removed from a donor vehical if you are wanting to convert to EFI.  The head is in rebuildable condition for the convertion.  I wont take my dash apart or cut the body harness.  I'm asking $600.00.  Shipping or pick-up will be discused upon agreement.

So, hello to all and hope to talk to you soon.
Thanks, James
