i talked to cj at marlin yesterday and he said their group is leaving around noon on thursday.  maybe i'll see if i can meet up with them in fresno.  maybe i need to look into how far out of my way that is first.

ya, give me a call, it would be great to be able to meet up with some people.

I'm heading up from SoCal friday afternoon/ evening and plan to camp near the Loon Lake trail head, then hit the trail and first light Saturday. Who's planning on a Satruday start? I want to take my time getting to the springs, mainly to get shots of everyone in action.

As for the drive up, I'm planning in taking the 5 to Stockton then crossing over to the 99. Big Mike showed me a nice shortcut a few years back, Grant Line Rd, off the 99 where there's a gas station for a pitstop.

Ok, my plans changed.

I'll be driving to Oakdale at 3pm and leaving from there at 5pm with Duffil.
