overheating?????

so recently the temp gauge on my truck has decided to go past the red mark and wat i  dont understand it isnt HOTT and it has brand new anti freeze, im thinkn it could be teh thermostat or my radiaitor is shot...what do yall think???

is there a good conection to the temp sender  may be bad  Ive had that problem on my Camreo and the wire that was connected to the temp. sensor was bad. Check it out

  You mean it's actually not overheating -- just showing hot on the gauge? 

If so, radiator should be OK, sending unit could be bad.

so i just put a new thermostat in her and she is back to running good, its running a little hot but not bad at all totally drivable/wheelable

Please tell me it's not a stant thermostat   Had too many of them lock up on me, even the fail-safe ones that are supposed to lock open   Did you bleed off all the air in the system?

no it aint another one of them gay things and yes i did bleed off the air in the system
