Front Axle, in/around NE Texas....or can get to NE Texas
« on: Aug 14, 2007, 08:06:29 PM »
I need a front axle for cheap(er) in or around NE Texas.  Or if you or someone is coming to this area and can bring it whatever.  I just need an axle.  LMK, thanks.

I have an axle that is taken apart right now, I will put it back together for you (I do not have the locking hubs though).  Let me check and make sure everything is there and get back to you.  I will be going to Houston some time soon and I would just want some extra cash for gas for the trip up to Dallas (if that is where you are).  $150 sound ok...if everything is there?

Dont need the hubs anyway cause I am using IFS stuff to widen it out a bit.  I am actually over in Quitman....about 45 minutes North of Tyler so Dallas is still about 2 hours west of me.  Where are you coming from??  How much would you take if it was taken apart....just trying to save money.  Actually I dont need the hubs, rotors, or calipers if that would lower the price any.  Just thinking out loud.  Lemme know.

I see you are down in Alpine...I assume that is where you are coming from??

I checked it out today and I am actually missing most of the parts  :headscratch: .  I have the housing (which I think is an 85), knuckles, and the steering...I can not find the plates that go on the underside of the knuckles though.  May not even be worth it.  Sorry, I really thought most of my parts were in one box in storage  :smack: .
