Yeah Peps, When I brought my new F-150 home in 2000, my neighbor told me I would have trouble with the transmission. That was 150,000 miles ago! Still pulling strong!

I was actually thinking of beefing it up since I'm towing with it now. Did you get a beefier trans (aftermarket) or just go with a stock replacement?

Whatup Eric?.I don't think I'll be going,Last time I went I parked my truck and trailer at Holcomb Valley but I don't really like going to Big Bear.The Trails suck IMO and trailering a vehicle up and down that hill you'll understand the other reason I don't like that place.

I just got a new Torque Converter and Tranny Pump,that's what went out.My ford has 126,000 miles but it's allways been a tow rig,I've towed to Arkansas,Moab,Rubicon,Vegas,Baja,Glamis,New Mexico and a few other places.I guess you can say the truck's been ran hard,it was about time it went out.

not much bro. Ya I could kind of under stand about the drive up all does hills. But who knows, my pops is getting pretty good drive up to the canyon alot know with the trailer But for sure let me know if you heading out there.  would like to wheel with you if i go to. just need to prep my truck. and im pretty slow on doing that to

Just did Big Bear last weekend, they got some rain on Friday, but only around John bull trail area, Holcomb trails was quite dusty. I heard there's a chance for rain this weekend, effects from that Hurricane down south.

I might just head back up there for a day run on Saturday.......
