you guys get to go flex it out yet?  i would like to know how these work on that aplication?   does it lift it at all and if so how much?

u gonna gusset those shock hoops? or at least plate the frame?

no it wasnt broken we cut it to turn it down a little so the new 1/2 ton Chevy ball joints would sit next to each other....


the shock mounts came with supports to go to the frame we just havent put them on yet

Well he's one of us NOW  :turtle: and the Jeep ran great.......  :thumbs:  until the clutch wouldnt engage and the front drive line came out  :disturbed: , well we still have tomorow and next week to button things up so  :crossed:

If you pre-heat the metal and evenly heat it after welding it creates the strongest bond possable, something around the lines of properely realighinging the molecules......  Bla bla bla   but its good to do in criticle areas....

Looks like it's time for a Toy gear drive case and a 4.7 gear set.  :yupyup:

BTW, any idea why it broke? How was the driveshaft length on the front? It almots looks like it bottomed out and pushed the case back breaking it off.

He is going back to a Dana 18 W SM 420 qand we think it was the front drive line too
