tranny question

i just discovered that i have an 87 w-56b trans and an 88 top- loading t case marlin him self told me by looking at the numbers on the tranny is that a good set up or should i look for a t case same year as my tranny or vice versa and I'm looking for a 4 inch lift spring that is stock shackle mounts if you all have one in Fresno hit me up so i can get my broke one fixed before it gets worse thanks again.
