Back from Hollister Hills
« on: Jun 23, 2007, 06:58:14 PM »
Went to Hollister today. It was me, Fordh8r, Hamster & a few other friends. Got there around 9am. It was dusty & warm. Played in the play ground for a while then we hit the trails.

1. Toydanota
2. 85 Runner
3. Jeep

In the second pic Hamster broke the pins in the locker. The Runner had to pull Hamsters truck up & out.

We were going up a trail & came up on a Blazer that was jammed. The 85 Toy hooked up the winch & pulled the Blazer away from the hill side so that he could back down. Damage was a bent rear bumper, some light door & rear 1/4 fender. Not too bad. Come to find out it was mima & his crew from Oakdale  We had to get back & fix a broke motor mount on my Runner so we had to get going. It was nice to meet you mima & put a face with the name. Maybe next time we could wheel with you. No pic's of me fixing my junk at the camp site. The motor mount popped out on the passenger side. Used a bottle jack & raised the engine, removed & reset the mount & reinstalled. All in all it was a good day.

No way, that can't be how that happened. That's never happened to me.

Sorry, I didn't know who you guys were. I woulda properly introduced myslef had I known.  :outtahere:

Nonetheless, glad to see there wasn't worse damage than that...whew. We were just randomly taking trails before we ran into you guys as luck would have it.

Actually, the guy in the red toy with the .5 doors. That's toydanota, he just got on here about 2 weeks ago and hasn't posted up yet. Ok Dan, where are you? Post up, dude!

This has been a bad couple of months for Hamster. Broke the 4.88's in the rear, broke pins in front locker, bent the front bumper, charging system was  :pokinit: out while we were there. Probably more but I have CRS right now.

Yeah, that would be cool.  8) Maybe we should do another run with the peps from the board. Only maybe this time it won't rain and allow for a little more socializing.  :yesnod:
