Comparative Engines

I was just thinking about this and thought it was fun enough to post up

A 3.slow V6 engine has 6 cylinders that are 0.5 liters each (3.0 / 6 = 0.5).

If you were to remove two cylinders, then you would get an equivalent 4-cylinder engine displacement of 2.0 liters.

Therefore, from now on, I am going to start comparing the 3.0 to a 19R hahahahahaha!!!!!

Lets see, the 3.0 is 2958cc, or 1972cc as a 4 cylinder.
A 19R is 1968cc, or 2952cc as a V6.

Ummmm, something more standard could be a 2 liter Camry/MR2 engine, the 3S-GE.

The 3S is 1998cc, or 2997cc as a V6, which would be larger than the 3.0 Hilux engine.

The 5VZ-FE 3.4l V6 is 3378cc, or 2252cc as a 4 cylinder. WOAH!

So the 3.4 V6 is comparable to the 20R !!!!!!! hahahaha ohhh man this is getting retarded now

The 3RZ 2.7 liter is 2693cc, or as a V6 it would be 4039.5cc. BOOM! So the 3RZ is an equivalent 4.0 liter V6 engine displacement. OHH YEAH BABY!

Meaningless, but interesting none the less.  More interesting would be to add HP to displacement equivalents to those calcs to get a gooder comparison.

Hey, check it out, a Chevy 350, or a Tundra 5.7, would be a 2.85 liter 4cyl (or of course a 4.3 liter V6 )

but every one nows that displacement has nothing to do with power.  take a 20r and put in the place of a 3.4, the truck wont get out of its own way.
