Hitting the pipe (not a drug thread)

I have been noticing an intermittent  pfff sound while driving. So I decided to investigate and removed the EGR valve to find the base gasket bad and the EGR plugged up with carbon which was weird because the truck damn near flat lined the last smog check six months ago.

So I pull the pipe going over to the intake and notice it is plugged up with carbon in the bend so I scrape it out and right about then I decide to blow it out with my mouth. Big mistake, because as soon as I put the pipe to my lips I sneezed inhaling all the carbon that I scrapped out.

I'm sure I will get some cancer now  :yupyup:

That concludes my stupid story.

I thought this was gonna be a 2 stroke motorbike related story :haha:

So how does carbon taste?  :gap:

yeah, anytime you put your mouth on an engine part, bad things happen.
I have a similar story involving a plugged pcv hose....

ya i can tell ya from personal experience that oil, ATF and gear oil do NOT taste good...dont ask me how i know lol  :thumbdown:

haha, never blow on a car part, thats what the blowgun attachment on the air compressor is for.....
