bought my buddies '87 22re turbo 4x4 5-speed.

220k miles on the rig... engine is starting to go.

I have a '96 3rz out've a 4x4 tacoma, complete, harness, ecu, all sensors, etc.

I know I need to order a bellhousing adapter for the r-151 trans... no sweat.

wondering if anyone has experience with this swap... any pointers, tips, advice, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

dude,  Bigmike  has  a  thread  around here  that has all the info you need 

and Marlin has a bellhousing  to bolt the 3rz  directly to the R151
