torque specs..

..for 22r head bolts? i cant my my haynes manual anywhere..

58  but i usually  pull them to 65

is there a criss cross pattern i have to follow or anything like that?

yea  just start in the center of the head between  #2 and #3  cyl  and  zigzag  back  and forth working front  to back 

i usually  work them all down snug   befor itorque them all down

I found this interesting because the torque spec's and torque pattern are easy to find in my haynes manual. but then it's a 79 to 83 manaul. then i looked at new manual 1979-1995 and it is a pain to find the spec's becaused they have the v6 mixed up in it. After looking around alot i think i found what your looking for. page 2A-2 has the torque spec's. @ 58 ftlbs.   and page 2A-8 has the tightening sequence. The old 22r was 53-63ftlb. I think pulling them up to 65 is good advice.
