New kid on the block
« on: Apr 04, 2004, 05:46:58 PM »
New here today. Names Gary and I just bought a new 04 Taco 4wd 5 speed. Had a 93 hi lux 4wd that I had for 10 years and traded for this one.

I'm from Chunky, Mississippi and I traded the 93 because I have never owned a new truck and being 49 years old I thought it was about time. If I had known this truck couldn't be flat towed I would not have bought it. My wife is a travel nurse and we live and travel full time in a 40 foot motorhome. I just went over to Texas and bought a 16 foot hauler and i will haul it around for a while. We do a lot of backcountry wheelin out in the west and when you're way out there you want a truck that is dependable. I got this new truck for the room and we sleep a lot in the back of it while wheelin. Im really need to find out what it will take to flat tow it. :help:

Id imagine you could put the trans in neutral and use a car dolly.
