I've got a nice farmers tan from welding.

I do have a welding sweatshirt that I use when I'm doing a lot of welding in one day. Its just an old sweatshirt I wore to work a lot and its got about 7 billion holes in it from welding berries. I got taller since thne so I just cut the bottom off and let my shirt protect my belly.

I was gonna say, I used sunblock, even under my white T's, cuz the light gos through, also have to put it under my chin, cuz the light reflects off the white t onto the bottom of my face, lotsa  sunscreen if you dont like lotsa close and the spatter dont bother, ALSO, where UV blocking safety glasses under your helmet, keeps your eyes feeling much better at the end of the day
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

i weld for a living and normaly by the end of the summer i have a tan line where my glove is on my left arm ark burn on skin isnt that bad but you realy got to watch the eyes ive had my fare share of flash burn and its not a fun experiance a mild case feels like you have sand in your eyes and each time you blink it feels like its gouging into my eyes ive gotten it to the point that every thing was a milky haze for 3-4 days and the pane stayed for twice that ive gotten alot more carful with things like that but its still bound to happen every now and then when you do it every day

We always learn the hard. way....... Using those Uv glasses makes a lot of a different.... expecially when someone ellse is welding in the same room.

Don't worry. The tan will turn a leathery base coon anyway, and then you won't have to worry.
