Hello all from PEI Canada. I have a 1986 Toyota 4x4 with a factory 2lt diesel engine.I'am new to the toyota's.As before i had 1979 Ford 4X4.I'am just looking for any help on finding some specs on the diesel in my toyota.Wondering what gears where offered and is my transfer case and transmissin which is a 5 speed. The same as the gas trucks. Any info our help would be great.

As I understand it the diesels all came with W56 trannys and the same geardrive case as the gas powered.  Welcome to the board, Im sure youll get more info than you really want here ;)
