22re won't pass smog help!

I have an 85 Sr5 toy 22re that won't pass smog because that plug that you short circuit  to  prevent timing from advancing is not working ( terminal T ) I stripped wires behind plug and tried to short , still no help.  anyonne have any info???

You need to adjust and/or replace your throttle position sensor.
It sounds like the idle switch isn't closing which keeps the computer from going into service mode. There's directions on the web somewhere that explains how to do this.
