Downey makes one but i've heard they don't do anything for performance. I have also heard of guys using the maf from a 83-85 supra which has a larger trap door than the 22re's. Apparently it's a direct plug in and will work with the 22re ecu? not 100% sure. A k&n filter would probably do just as much.

well, as a cheap preliminary step, I found great performance increases just by cleaning the heck out of my intake, I'd suggest it to anyone. It might as well have been a new truck.

Changing the intake mainafold to a polished plenum [this upgrade will increases the airflow] on a efi engine will have little or no effect unless you have an open air cleaner, oversize throttle body, bigger injectors, oversize valves, port and polished head, performance cam, and oversize exhaust system ect.

What you could do is go to lowes or home depot, look for a 3" PVC Closet Flange, take your mass air sensor off the top of the air box cover and drill and cut the flange for the MAF, then go to autozone and buy a ricer cotton cone filter and clamp it on, cost is like 30$ for the flange and filter, i would reccomend relocating it if u do alot of water stuff.
