OK. I have a question about the dual transfer case and what is needed to complete it. I have a 85 pickup with a forward shift transfer case. I picked up a top shift transfer case out of a 85 ifs. Will the top shift just bolt to the back of the crawler adapter, or do i have to convert one of the reduction box's? Sorry for such a noob question but i have looked every wear and just cant seem to find the answer. Thanks SO much - Nick  :)

I think, and I could be wrong.  But I believe you can use the forward shift as your crawlbox, and the top shift as your rear box.

Either way, yes, the top shift does just bolt to the crawler adapter

Gittinit

Blackdog got it right. That is the setup I'm running, foward shift crawlbox with topshift rear tcase.
