alright so im in a bind!  :maddest:  im really trying to figure this out by tomorrow (wednesday) or thursday, NO LATER THAN FRIDAY. so im a little strapped on cash and have been wanting duals for the last 2 1/2 years. i deffinetally need a little more gearing for this hammers trip. so heres the deal.
Marlins out of the v6plate and i deffinetally need that no matter what before i got to hammers. heres the catch why.
rockcrawlintoy has came across some great points on what i should do:
1st. we started punching $ numbers and gearing numbers. i thought i could just order everything from here and get the v6 plate from inchworm. the total outcome of gearing equals out to 97:1. stock duals in my truck. total is $909 (ship not includ) still leaves me with some cash for cross member stuff and to make a driveline.

2nd. we thought (rockcrawlintoy) get the v6 plate, 4.7s from marlin and the 23spline input gear. the gearing here equals out to 88:1 (not very much less) this total comes to $954 i think (w/o shipping)

3rd. my idea is to call marlin and see how much all the dual ulti stuff would be minus the v6 plate. then order that from inchworm but i would be SOL for a crossmember and it would be sketch getting in a rear driveline in time. which ever way it turned out. (HEY my birthday is on friday so maybe thats a good thing!???) but i think it could get done. the dual ulti stuff is $1373. so minus the v6 plate looks to be $1023.

sorry for the long post. im just trying to deside this week and make an order already!!!!!!!!!! its been so long since ive wanted duals but as moneys kinda tight im tossing up 3 ideas. everyone lean me towards something im ready to make an order!!!!!!!!!!!!!   :willynilly:  :slap:

Go #2 for now so you have money for the trip/other things to get ready. Then this summer we will throw the other case in, then you will have dual ultimates.
RIP Kyota.... you are the man

GET IT!!!

IMO i would be leaning towards option 1.  its a little less so you can make a crossmember and driveshafts, but i like the gearing options a lot better with the duals.

2 is a good choice but i dont think you are gonna like the fact that you have either a high or a reallly low  :dunno:  but 2 does indeed seem the easiest to get done within your time contraints.

good luck

its 795 since u dont need a 23 spine input gear. the 4.7 in 23 spline does that for ya .
