well, good news is i found part of the problem. bad news is.... i found the problem.

seems like the gasket blew AGAIN  :tantrum: between the intake and head right near the water jacket. it may not have blown... im thinking the intake may not be torqued down tight enough and is causing a water as well as a huge air leak. so its inconsistently dripping water in there causing the inconsistent sputter and the intake may be causing an air leak causing the surge in rpms at idle. i cant smell it in the exhaust tho so its burning it clean out the exhaust. i found it while i was changing plugs. numbers 1 and 2 are clean. the 3 and 4 plug had the nice brown haze it should of had.

anyhow... imma try and see what i can do tomorrow. hopefully i can fix it by snugging it down and hope it stops the leaks. if not i guess i gotta rip into it again  :rivers:

lucky you.

that sucks, hope all it needs is  snug down, but if its leaking that bad, you'll prolly want to replace the gasket :dunno:
