deployment should be pretty good. FOB i'm headed to still gets a fair amount of IED responses (part of my job) and should be packing up the base towards the end of the deployment.

About to hit 4 years and time to reenlist...  Trying to find some fellow military members to help me try to get stationed out that way.  Currently in Mayport, Florida on a ship but looking for orders somewhere in the mid-west area (for reasons that are probably fairly apparent).  Anyone have any pull or hookups to get me in the door at a base out that way?  Fallon, Perterson, Cheyene - I'm not real picky, anything that'll get me in the area!  Thanks to all my fellow service members and, to the civilians, we appreciate all your support.

Nah, most Marines just aren't smart enough to use a computer

I don't carry a rifle, but unlike the rest of the AF, I do work long tedious hours away from a computer, and because of my efforts, many Marines and Soldiers make it home to their families at the end of a deployment.  It's hard to get air support without working aircraft.

MOS 19D--RECON!!! I see everything!!

Left as E-5 and miss it now and then.

Why Army? They asked me first and I didn't have squat going for me after high school; kind of wonder what the Marines would have been like... my best friend's brother is a Marine, my dad was Navy, some uncles were Chair Force and Marines too. Someone had to be in the Army... :dunno:

It was interesting to say the least.
