I have looked through the forum, and no info or opinions came up on the pro-comp Mx-6 adjustable monotube Shocks. I was thinking about the Rancho's then i felt a friends shocks he had off his truck and they would go in really quick and then come out decently. 

Anybody Runnin them, Or have friends running them?

My brother runs the cheap procomp 3000 shocks on his Jeep.  They ride rough but seem to work and fit the budget, cheap.

Shocks aren't usually 50/50, but are more like 70/30.  You don't get equal damping both ways, the valves are set to allow freer movement on compression and offer more resistence, or damping, on rebound.  This is what keeps you from pogoing down the road after hitting a bump.  I'd suspect a shock that feels equal both ways

That what i would think. For instince if your mobbin across the dunes and it a small whoop section or nound of sand, You wouldn't really want to bottom out would ya?

Right.  The spring offers the resistence to bottoming out, while the shock keeps it from rebounding violently, as well as helping the vehicle to settle quickly with each substequent deflection.
