The front bumpers are worth every penny!!!!!

I just throughly tested mine at Hollister and it held up to everything I hit and about 200 feet of winching in a canyon through mud.

If you buy a bumper for an '89 it is very possible to install it on an '89 toyota pickup std cab short bed

Not sure what is in stock, but marlin sells bumpers for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen toyota trucks and 4runners.

what is going on with these bumpers? i ordered one online w/stinger 2 weeks ago for a 92 pickup and when i called to find out what was going on today I was told that "there weren't any in stock" and "I don't know when we will get any". Maybe it's just me but I'd have thought some notice that these were on "backorder" would have been nice, ie: a phone call or e-mail, or even better yet some type of note on the website that says that we rarley ever have these to sell even though plenty of people want them. crappy customer service to start with and crappy customer service on the phone. I thought that this was THE PREMIERE toyota parts store? sucks that i had to come to the forum to find out whats going on in the retail side of the business when i talked to someone on the phone earlier today. Don't care if I offended anyone, $475 of my money has been tied up with no end in sight and no notice that i could have spent on other parts. Rant over.

Don't stress out! I ordered mine about 3 weeks ago and was told they didn't have any in stock and didn't know when they would,the next week it was shipped.they quality is worth the wait

Yes, We are very close. Very close. I can't give and ETA right now because I don't now. We will be closed half of Thursday and all Friday for Rubithon. Since I won't be attending this year I plan to travel on Friday to our tubing manufacture to see the new CNC bender (in action) and sign off on the cab cage drawings. I'll know then what a true ETA will be.

I apologize for the delay. I have no excuse that would make them get here faster, only that the price will still be very nice.

Late Reply I know. Our Tube Manufacture and Fabricator just stress me out like nobody else can. AHHHHAHHH  Its just a days work in our "War on Price Inflation".

Anyways, I got to check out this new bending machine and run some tube through it. I'm impressed, it nothing like the JD2 we have at the shop. So we got the bumpers squared away but we ran out of time and only talked about the cab cage. It takes a lot of time to set up for each tubing size and bend program. Once set up its fast but I had only four hours of time there. So we went over the drawings and started programing the cage. I don't know what day yet but next week they requested me to come back so we can bend a few cab cage samples (mainly the door jam tubes and the rear hoop). We have lined up a 86 ex-cab and a 99 Tacoma for a test cage install. If all goes well we could see cab cages by July 21st.

I appreciate your patience and everyone else's for waiting. I will try to keep a update going now that we are in the final stages.
