A/C idle up controller?
« on: Mar 05, 2007, 02:48:17 AM »
I wanna use my air conditioning switch as an engine idle up for winching and such. I think there is a control knob for this thing behind the dash somewhere that allows you to adjust how high the rpm's idle up when the compressor kicks on. However the compressor kicks off every so often, so im wondering how you defeat that part....  my a/c is not hooked up anyway at the moment.

OR I can just rig up a bicycle parts idle control and be done with it.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Yes use a vermier cable much more precise than bicycle parts and safer.
