14" Bilsteins with only a body lift?
« on: Mar 04, 2007, 11:07:39 AM »
How bad would it be it be to run 14" 5125 Bilsteins with shock hoops for a little while till I get the lift done?
All I have right now is a 3" body lift.  Also what length of 5125's would I be able to run on the back with a higher rear shock mount like this one   http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/images/toyota/toyuppershkmount.gif  with and without a 4 or  5 inch lift?

The longer shocks would do nothing for you unless you had the articulation to warrant the longer travel of the shocks. Wait until  you get your suspension set up, then take some measurements of the truck on level ground, and flexed out. Then you will know what length shocks you need.
