4Runner trans/trans
« on: Mar 02, 2007, 05:33:57 PM »
On the 5spd transmission and gear driven transfer case, do they vent out the top of the shifter as I have been told and if so, how can I re-route them to improve thier ventilation and reduce heat trapped in the cases? ???

Glen after re and reing the second trans/trans (overheated) I called my local Toyota service Dept. and was informed the trans/trans in my 85 vents through the shifter plate, I've asked my brother in Australia to look into this also!
