88 IFS rear diff 6 lug 4x4

Selling one complete drum to drum, 88 Toyota truck IFS rear diff. It's still hooked up, and unopened. $130.00 OBO. Can sell with connecting parts. It's in Las Vegas. This is whats left of a front wrecked standard cab 4cyl.

***PRICE REDUCTION***    This would be great for a samurai conversion.  6 lug 4x4 axle.


For $200.00 I'll sell it with two wheels and tires. 15x8 sawblades with 31" tires.

This truck also had EFI, If that makes a difference.

What are the gear ratio?

I believe the stock ratio is 4.10

unless it came from the factory with 31 in tires its got the 4:10 gears if it came with 31 in tires it has i think 4:88 or 4:56

Sorry, other than opening it up. I'm concidering it to be 4:10. I dont know what it had from the factory. I bought this truck as a front end wreck for parts and this is one of the parts still connected to the frame.(As of this date) It was an unlifted 4x4 with 31in. tires. Probibly with tortion bars cranked up.

Look at the bottom of the id tag in the engine bay, about midway on the last line.  If it says G29 it's 4.10, G25 4.56, or G14 is 4.88.  Look just to the right of that and see what tranny you have while you're at it, if you still have the tranny,  Nate

jack up one side of the axle, so a tire is still on the ground holding it, make a mark on the tire and a mark on the driveshaft, spin the tire slowly 1 time, and count how many times the driveshaft spins. if it is close to 5 times, then it's 4.88, if it only spins 4 times, then it's 4.10's. Usually, most people use chalk, but paint can be substituted.
