Elocker wiring

I have a high pinion front with 5.29s and an elocker, a v6 rear with 5.29s and an elocker, and saw that Marlin has a wiring harness to hook it up. Is this wiring harness good? Does it go from the elocker motor to an interior switch? The one from inchworm is like 75 for the wiring and 38 for a switch and a fuse and some other stuff so for front and rear that would cost almost 300 dollars, Marlins in 40 dollars and so would be much cheaper. What do you guys think. Any body bought the wiring? Thanks

I just made my own, and i used a diagram from somewear on the internet.

I bought mine from inchworm and it cost me $150 for front and rear and it came with a switch.  The one from Marlin is the stock  harness.  It doesn't run to a switch.

Did you get both the wiring harness and the other one with the switches fuses and zip ties? With the switches from 12voltguy it is all like 300 hundred dollars and that is just outrages. SO i am looking if I can find one for cheeper.

Yes, I got the one with the wiring, switches, and zip ties.  It works well for me.

You're confusing the harness and controller and you need both.  The harness is just the factory wiring that interfaces with the plug on the third member.  You end up cutting off the other plug and soldering or crimping on the wires from the controller to the harness.  The $75 controller from inchworm is nothing more than about $10 in parts you can get from radioshack. 

Wiring up the controller on carterman's site is cake.  If you've ever hooked up off road lights with a relay, you can do it.

Ive never done that. So I can buy the 38 dollar kit, I dont know what is in the other kit though, neither do i know anything about wiring. So can you give me the link to the article? So do i need two of the factory wiring harnesses? Thanks

Marlin doesn't make a "kit".

Go for the inchworm controller and harness.  You'll need two of each.  Make sure you specify you have a high pinion and a low pinion because the plugs are different.

Again, you are still confused.

"We have Toyota factory wire harness to connect your electric locker."

That is not the controller kit.  That is the factory harness.  Since it is the factory harness it exactly the same thing that inchworm sells.  Again, you will need both the harness and the controller kit.  Re-read my first reply.

im with robinhood, marlin has the harness but doenst have the controller ... inchworm does sell a controller kit and the harness

http://www.inchwormgear.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=36 is inchworms switch kit, and it says you still need the harness too for the diff..... so that would be like $120 per elocker....

now with what robinhood said about the switches, wiring in a switch is pretty easy...

ok i get it now, Thanks. I will get the harness, and get a list of the other things i need to wire from the harness to the 12 volt guy switch. Any body got a list of what i will need? Thanks

89 ext cab sas with diamond +4 1/2" housing 30 spline longs and hub gears, hp elocker, six studs, arp studs in everything, taco rear with elocker. swaped out 22re for 3.4l supercharged, urd 2.0" pulley, urd fuel management, downey headers, flowmaster, cold air intake, marlin clutch that is straining to hold up
