Street Legal Beadlocks?

I have herd rummers of DOT approved Beadlocks! This true?  :eek:

interesting...so...how do these differ from the Straun Products internal in performance? Anyone have experience with these?

I thought it was one piece of metal until i looked closer and read the "product information" tab.  And for $400 i'm not really sold on the looks.  interesting product though.

Az laws don't mention wheels at all.
As far as I'm concerned, my wheels are DOT approved...I've just welded a ring on them.
I wouldn't sweat it anyway, a police officer would have to be a real Barney to pull over every truck that looked like it had beadlocks on 'em.
Probably 99% are fakes.

yeah, to an unknowlegable person, you'd be hard pressed to really know the difference.  Besides, most infractions are rolling, (running stopsign, lights out, etc.)  and they wouldn't be able to tell anyway when you're driving :dunno:
