(is it just me, or would it make sense to have a Cal 4 wheel convetion in CA somewheres?  :dunno::hahaha:

its in reno because i think it is the best place for the northern cali to have it cause they rotate it between south central and north but it is the 16-18 of this month which is next weekend

We will be there.  Actually have the truck entered in the "show" Saturday.  This will be a first for "the boy", and us too! (parents)  Understand that there is a lot going on both inside and out side.  Would like to head to Moonrocks with others going.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM  moonrocks that sounds like fun.  Hope it doesnt snow that gets expensive for chains for the trailer and the tow rig.

This is probably a stupid question but I am going to be in Tahoe this weekend and I was thinking about going out to the show for a day. Do you have to register to go or is it a general public type event, with like an entry fee? As long as you dont have to register or pay some outrageous amount to go I am definitely there.

its open to the public but i think there might be a fee im not quite sure you might want to check the website for more info

Yeah I had snooped around the cal4wd site and it mentioned fees and registration if you want to be in the actual show or be a vendor but i couldnt find anything about actual entry fees for the public.

We had to pay to register for the dinner ect..  The "show was $25 per class to enter the truck..Will be $30 per class on Sat.  I was told unload at 8 and judge at 10....  Then there is a trade show, swap meet and all the goodies Sat & part of Sunday..

well went to the cal4wheel convention today wasnt really impressed with what was there not much stuff to see and hardly anything to buy.

ya im just glad i had other things to do in reno when it was here a few years it was really cool you could spend all day there but this time i spent maybe an hour there i upset with what cal4wheel had set up and they could of done a lot better job on the convention

We went...not very much goin on for a convention / trade show and vehicle show.  Had a blast at Moonrocks on Sunday tho!

ya i saw you there but you guys had a bunch of people around so when i was there like the toyota tho i was going to go to moonrocks but friday night when i pulled it out of the garage i didnt have any brakes so i dunno whats going on cause i just put a new fj80 mastercylinder on it
