3.0 fuel pump problem how do i fix or check if it is working. i took off the feul filter to see if it is cloged or not and its not so i turned the key on to see if the pump is working or not and i had no pressure so i want to know how to see if it works or not other than that.
83 toyota shortbed, 90 rear axle, 5.29's f/r, spools f/r, 22/20 hybrid w/propane, 37 mtrs. dual transfer cases. http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=22712.0

Check for voltage at fuel pump turn key in on position and disconnect fuel pumps wire set. install test light or meter over wires. Than either turn key to start position or leave key in on position and stick something in mass air sensor box to open up that door (right behind air filter) when that door is open it will send juice to the fuel pump. Start there.

Sorry if you have juice it is more than likely the pump is bad. Did you check the inline fuel filter for a clog?

fixed it turns out that the previos owner cut the wire and didnt crip both wires togther so that he had some kind of security system.
