Extra cab or Runner?????

I have a 84 4Runner, 22r recently rebuilt (less then 25k) Webber carb, new tires, Marlin sliders and Rear bumper, Hy-steer (being installed this weekend)....... The direction I want to take my build isnt body friendly to a 4runner. Vertical shocks desired, Flat bed wanted, possible 3 link in rear, probly 37" tires, interior Cage (just in case  ), 3rz regardless  , possible flat belly.
Im just a little too tall to sleep in the rear of the Runner. Although it would be nice to have 2 more ppl along I dont see it too easy to get 2 full size people into those rear seats with a interior roll cage in there way. I'd rather have a 4 door if I were to take 4 people.
With the Extra cab, I'd build it similar to 4RunnerRicks. Possibly coil overs in place of leafs.

Any suggestions? Im not in too much of a rush, Im off to Iraq soon so I wont evan be driving my truck for a while. Wanted a good idea where to take this when I get back so I can spend alot of my Hazzard pay
